WordPress Speed Optimization Service
We make slow WordPress sites fast where it counts: in the Core Web Vitals Google measures from real visitors on phones, not just a lab score. Audit first, fixes tested on staging, a before-and-after report, and a fixed price in writing.

The big number in PageSpeed Insights is one simulated test. Google ranks on field data: real Chrome visitors over the last 28 days, judged at the 75th percentile. We optimize for the numbers Google uses, and the score usually follows.
Those are Google's published Core Web Vitals thresholds. A page passes only when 75% of real visits meet all three. Our guide to Core Web Vitals in WordPress explains why a fast lab score and a failing assessment happen together so often.
What is slowing your WordPress site down
Slow sites rarely have one cause. The audit ranks them, so the fixes start with whatever costs you the most.
Slow hosting
A server taking close to a second to respond caps everything else. It is the most common cause we find, and the one people check last.
Missing or wrong caching
No page cache, or three caching plugins fighting each other. Caching has to match your host and your plugins.
Heavy images
Full-size uploads, no WebP, and a lazy-loaded hero image that Google is measuring as your LCP.
Plugin and addon weight
Page builder addon packs, sliders, and tools loading scripts on every page, including the ones that never use them.
Scripts that block the page
Render-blocking CSS and JavaScript, chat widgets, trackers, and fonts loaded before anything a visitor can see.
A bloated database
Years of revisions, expired transients, and autoloaded options slowing every uncached request and the admin.
Everything a slow WordPress site needs, in one fixed-price job
Every job starts with an audit, because the fix for a slow host is different from the fix for a heavy page builder. You get a written plan and a fixed price before any change is made.
Want to see where the weight sits first? Our guide to fixing a slow WordPress website walks through the same order we work in.
From slow to fast in four steps
Most speed jobs take about a week from approved plan to launch.
Audit
We pull field data from the Chrome User Experience Report and run lab tests on your key pages to find the real bottleneck.
Plan and fixed price
You get a written list of fixes in order of impact, what each one changes, and one fixed price.
Fix on staging
All work happens on a copy. We test pages, forms, and checkout before anything reaches the live site.
Launch and report
We push the changes live, verify them, and send before-and-after numbers with what to watch next.
A note on timing: lab numbers change the day we launch. Field data in Search Console moves over a rolling 28 days, so the report tells you what to expect and when to check.
Elementor, WooCommerce, and everything in between
The bottlenecks differ by stack. These guides show what we look at first on each one.
Elementor sites
Addons, DOM size, and the speed settings most sites never turn on →WooCommerce stores
Cart fragments, HPOS, and caching that does not break the cart →Slow checkout
Why checkout needs its own speed work, separate from the store →Image-heavy sites
Sizing, WebP, and protecting the image Google measures →A slow admin dashboard
Autoloaded options, Heartbeat, and WP-Cron on admin visits →Failing Core Web Vitals
Which metric to fix first, and why a green score is not enough →When speed work is not the answer
Some limits sit outside what optimization can reach: a host that cannot respond quickly, a heavy multipurpose theme loading everything on every page, or third-party scripts the business needs.
If one of those is the ceiling, we say so in the audit, before you pay for fixes that cannot move the number.

How long does WordPress speed optimization take?
Most sites take about a week from approved plan to launch. The audit itself takes a day or two. Lab results improve the day changes go live, while field data in Search Console updates over a rolling 28 days, so the full picture takes about a month to show.
Do you guarantee a PageSpeed score?
No. A PageSpeed score is one simulated test, and Google ranks on field data from real visitors. We target passing Core Web Vitals on mobile, which is what affects rankings and conversions. The score usually rises too, but we will not trade real speed for a number.
Will speed optimization break my site?
Not when it is done on staging. Every change is made on a copy of your site, then we test key pages, forms, and checkout before anything goes live. Caching and script changes are where rushed speed work breaks sites, and that is exactly what staging catches.
Do I need to change my hosting?
Sometimes. The audit measures how fast your server responds before we touch anything else. If the host is the ceiling, we tell you before you pay for other fixes. Many sites get fast on their current host once caching, images, and scripts are handled properly.
Does site speed affect SEO?
Yes, but as one signal among many. Core Web Vitals are part of how Google assesses page experience, while relevance and content still matter more. The bigger effect is often on conversions: a page that loads slowly on a phone loses visitors before they read anything.
How much does WordPress speed optimization cost?
It depends on the host, the theme or page builder, the plugins, and how many templates need work. After the audit you can take one fixed price in writing, or work hourly if the scope is still open. Ongoing monitoring is a separate, optional monthly cost.
